DEXTER — Dexter Health Care has been recognized as a 2013 recipient of the Bronze Commitment to Quality award for its dedication to improving the lives of residents through improved quality care. The award is one of three distinctions possible through the National Quality Award program, presented by the American Health Care Association and National Center for Assisted Living (AHCA/NCAL). The program honors facilities across the nation that have demonstrated their commitment to improving quality care for seniors and individuals with disabilities.

    DOVER-FOXCROFT — The Center Theatre in Dover-Foxcroft is proud to announce its Community Partners Membership Drive. Each new Center Theatre membership started during the drive will include not only free popcorn and movie tickets to the Center Theatre, but also a special coupon to another local business. We need information about the signs and symptoms of tick-related diseases and what to do when a tick appears. Of special importance is knowing what to do and what not to do when removing a tick.
