DOVER-FOXCROFT — Senior Network continues to meet in the Community Room at the Morton Avenue Municipal Building over this summer on a reduced schedule. On the first Monday of each month, Community Café will be held which features a freshly prepared hot meal available for participants for a donation. Community Café is sponsored by Eastern Area Agency on Aging. Participants usually gather at 10:30 a.m. for a social networking time with lunch served at 11:30 a.m., followed by games and jigsaw puzzles until about 1 p.m. Community Café is offered on July 1 and Aug. 5 over the summer.

    DOVER-FOXCROFT — For the fourth year, the Piscataquis Regional YMCA will be offering free healthy meals to all children 18 and under in the community. The program, administered through the Maine State Department of Education, is an amazing opportunity to make sure the youth of the area get healthy meals and snacks this summer. The Y will be offering a free healthy lunch from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and a free healthy snack from 3 to 3:30 p.m. every weekday from June 17 through Aug. 23 at the Y, 48 Park Street. Children do not have to be members or otherwise associated with the Y. The program is open to everyone in the community.
