    DOVER-FOXCROFT — Ongoing discussions on the installation of a security camera system for the SeDoMoCha School campus continued during a Feb. 7 school board meeting, with the directors deciding that the next step should be for the budget committee to examine the system as the group develops the spending plan for 2012-13.

DOVER-FOXCROFT — After a hiatus of more than five months, the Center Theatre has announced that they will be showing two movies just in time for February break. “Mission Impossible – Ghost Protocol” will start with a 7 p.m. showing on Friday the 17th and “Puss in Boots” will have its first screening at 2 p.m. on Saturday, February 18th.

DOVER-FOXCROFT — Beginning Feb. 16 coffee and other hot beverages will be available at certain times on Thursday through Saturday at the Thompson Free Library. You can serve yourself from the Keurig that will have a variety of coffee flavors as well as cocoa and tea. With free WIFI available you can use your laptop and enjoy a hot drink during the scheduled coffee times.

    DOVER-FOXCROFT — The Penobscot River Restoration Project began in 2000 as an effort to restore 11 sea-run fish to the Penobscot River, while maintaining energy production. Supporters say successful implementation of the project would revive not only native fisheries but social, cultural and economic traditions of New England’s second largest river — the Penobscot.
