    Being physically fit is just as important for proper vision, as it is for cardiac health. The eyes need a strong flow of blood to function and poor circulation has a negative impact on their ability to function. Dr. Gerrard Rudmin, O.D., of Dexter,  recommends a healthy lifestyle for those who are concerned about their vision. He explains a proper diet and exercise  are essential to maximize blood circulation to the eyes.
