SEBEC — Citizens gave their approval to a municipal budget of just over $578,000 during the annual town meeting on August 9 at the Harland A. Ladd Municipal Building. This figure will be partially offset by over $297,500 comprised of money carried forward for specific warrant articles from the year before and sources of revenue to help reduce the town’s tax commitment. Sebec will have to raise a net total of approximately $280,600 for the budget — last year’s net budget was about $374,600.
