MONSON — The Call-Thoreau photo exhibit of the North Maine Woods will be open at the Monson Visitors Center (formerly Monson Elementary School) for the final days on Labor Day weekend with a final showing on Monday, Sept. 6. In the late 19th and early 20th centuries photographer Bert Call took images showing many of the sites and scenes visited by Henry David Thoreau during his travels to Maine.
