Monson board seeks proposals on plow contract and other projects |

MONSON — The selectmen have set a deadline for 4 p.m. on Tuesday, June 18 to receive bids for winter snow plowing, a tax acquired property, road maintenance on Indian Point and for sand and salt. The selectmen discussed the projects and set the deadline during their May 15 meeting.

MONSON — The Piscataquis County Economic Development Council (PCEDC) has received a $5,360 grant from the Recreational Trails Program administered by the Division of Parks and Public Lands of the Maine Department of Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry to develop a walking trail linking the Appalachian Trail near the Appalachian Trailhead in Monson to a viewing area for the Goodell Brook Waterfalls.
